Description
Eulogica Companion is an app designed for iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones and tablets. It is not meant to replace a full Eulogica installation, but gives access to some important parts of a Eulogica database whenever you are out and about. Eulogica Companion gives access to full details of tasks, and some details regarding funerals. It can be used for looking up funeral information, initiating phone calls, pinpointing addresses on a map, updating the status of tasks, and more.
At Eulogica, we believe «Every funeral is unique» and that means, among other things, we know you are sometimes in places without a good internet connection. With Eulogica Companion, funeral details can be accessed and tasks can be updated on a smartphone at all times – even when there is no mobile signal. Any new information will be synchronised with the main Eulogica database once a connection is available.
Additional information
As changes made in the app are synchronised with the main Eulogica database, any staff working at a back office will be able to quickly see the changes made by staff that are out on the road, and vice versa.
For complex organisations, Eulogica Companion also has a number of filtering options. The funeral data stored in the mobile device can be limited to a certain number of days, or to a certain branch code or staff code.
Smart mobile features
Eulogica Companion works on tablets as well as smartphones. It allows for changing the status of a task just by swiping left or right in the task list. For a better view, feel free to turn the device from portrait to landscape mode – or why not customise the app with a different theme colour!
With Eulogica Companion, you can also tap on an address to look it up in a map and perhaps get driving directions. Tap on an e-mail address to start typing an e-mail. Tap on a telephone number to initiate a call or message. [1]
Get started
In order to get started with Companion, your Eulogica installation needs to be updated to a recent version. Also, some software preparations on the server should be done, to allow for connections from devices with the Eulogica Companion app. Please just contact a member of our staff, who will check your installation and take care of the necessary preparations.
