The core of our philosophy is that the technology should adapt to the Funeral Director’s needs, not the other way around. For this reason we spend a lot of time just configuring and fine-tuning the software to each business.

Many of the requests we get, are repetitive and straight forward, but once in a while a new challenge comes up that we have not dealt with before. Of course, those are the most interesting days in our business! Recently one Funeral Director asked if we could make the system print a mirrored sign. That is, the name of the deceased as it would look in the mirror – left-to-right. This would be useful for producing name plates for cremation using special clear sheets attached to a plain name plate. Printing mirrored then allows them to have the printed side on the bottom, thereby ensuring that should the plate get any water on it, there is no chance of the ink running. ‘This function now saves me from having to open any other software other than Eulogica for producing all documents and labels related to a funeral’, commented Nick Armstrong of Armstrong Funeral Service in Bury St. Edmunds.
