SAIF AGM Banquet weekend 2015

The weekend of 20th to 22nd March 2015 saw members of the Eulogica team attend the 2015 SAIF AGM and banquet. David Wright and Nick Stokes from the UK, Geir Bakke from Norway, and Laura de Waal from the Netherlands represented Eulogica at the beautiful Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor.

Friday afternoon saw the usual Associate members’ lunch, followed by a though provoking presentation on dementia from Glenn Knight from training2care, featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour® giving the delegates a view of what dementia sufferers experience in daily life.

On the Friday evening, Golden Charter hosted their annual Funeral Planner of the Year awards, which saw a number of Eulogica clients claim regional awards, as well as Kyle Brothers of Kelso and John Fraser and Son of Inverness claim the national awards for their respective categories. The whole Eulogica team congratulate our clients and contacts in their successes.

The AGMs for SAIF and SAIFCharter were held on Saturday morning, followed by a lively Question Time style session with members of the boards of SAIFCharter and Golden Charter. This was followed on Saturday evening by the black tie Banquet evening, hosted by the ever-entertaining Renfield the Butler. A lively evening was had by all, with music quizzes and competitions keeping the diners on their toes.

The weekend culminated with the installation of officers for 2015 on the Sunday morning. All at Eulogica would like to congratulate Mark Woollard on a successful year, and wish new President Gemma O’Driscoll all the best for her year in office.
