Funeral Directors from three countries, Norway, the Netherlands and the UK, joined us at our Eulogica Christmas gathering in London, where we had an excellent and informative time together.
We participated at the Albin’s Christmas Memorial Service on the Wednesday evening, 2017 being the 16th year in a row that the event has been arranged, where several thousand people came and joined an unforgettable night filled with song and music, as well as speeches, prayer, drinks and some nice mince pies too!
The following day we went into central London for lunch at a French restaurant, followed by a Eulogica presentation at our office. The presentation covered new features in Eulogica 6, the App and API (Application Programming Interface), GDPR (see below), Resource Management and the innovative Eulogica 7 – the future administration system for the funeral industry. We rounded off the day with a nice dinner where the participants were able to discuss many aspects of business with peers from different areas and countries.
Friday, the last day, we visited F. A. Albin & Sons and Albin International Repatriation (AIR). We had a guided tour around the premises at Albin’s, including their amazing museum and memorial garden. Finally, Emerson de Luca (Managing Director of AIR), presented for us how the repatriation market works and the many processes involved, followed by a lively and interesting discussion session. A huge thank you to Emerson and the employees at F. A. Albin & Sons and Albin International Repatriation for a fantastic day.
The Eulogica team will arrange a new Christmas gathering in 2018 in London – watch out for information (and a registration form) about this event later in the year!
